sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the account password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Arthur Aydin I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I think that Sam is the real hero of the trilogy. Mainly because, if it wasn't for him, frodo would have ended up like isealdor (spelling?) and not destroying the ring at mt doom. Sam also went all the way with frodo and didn't succumb to the rings power, granted he wasn't wearing it, like frodo, but still! Sam is the really OG
+TYRONE THUG-NASTY BIGGUMS He also forgot Bilbo's bro Fatty. Dude started to go with them, but chickened out. Instead he rolled into Bag End to obfuscate the departure of Bilbo.
+BuckyMadubado Only thing to add would be that Sauron forged the ring to focus his power; he was corrupted long before the ring existed, serving as Melkor's lieutenant for ages
Not corrupted by the ring, but by power - just as said in the video. He went from 'regular' Maiar to Dark Lord for the power Morgoth offered, so your point is kinda invalid.
That was amazing. I'm so glad you made this!!! You rolled the entire book up better than anyone I have ever seen. Including me! Anyway thanks homie and see ya in da next episode.
Great series Wisecrack! So many classics are thrown out there as strictly entertainment. Your "In your face" analysis reveals the real quality of these stories. You are a great story teller!
I absolutely love that quote by Gandalf of having to decide what to do with the time given to us. Helped me in some binds and rough times. Love the video and hope to see more of these in the future.
I'm now reading LOTR's Fellowship for the first time. Thanks, Mr. Thug, for clearing up my confusion about some of the plot points. Crystal clear summary.
Never saw a video of this channel before. Expected to laugh, did not expect a summary as elaborate as this was. Was not dissapointed. Time and effort definitely went into making this video and it shows. Result is very good!
Just like Saruman predicted.... We are living in a industrial society Saruman: Together, my lord Sauron, we shall rule this Middle-earth. The old world will burn in the fires of industry. Forests will fall. A new order will rise. We will drive the machine of war with the sword and the spear and the iron fist of the orc. J.R.R. Tolkien Thuglord
+TheMontanaDave the problem I had with the books was it was always a little *too* detailed, ya know? Like, it would go so far into detail that instead of helping me picture the setting it took me out of the story.
Please PLEASE do the rest of the Lord of the Rings series, both The Two Towers, and The Return of the King! The series is my favorite, and you nailed this first book!
the stories inspire and the telling enlightens... powerful combo... going on two years listening TN... wishing you all the best/ you deserve it... What do I wanna see... Macbeth is always good for a fresh toss...
Saleh G Of course I don't know each individual character. I know the broad overarching story due to internet/comedy references. I know there were many rings made by some guy, I know Frodo's uncle did something before related to it. I know a mixed group all went to destroy the ring on foot for some reason. I know one person among tries to take the ring but doesn't. I know that wizard called Gandalf dies after yelling "you shall not pass" and comes back, I know there are two bad guys Suruman and Sauran, one of whom can influence others including a king, I know Sauraman and Gandalf were friends like Magneto and Professor X, I know in the end they are successful by throwing the ring in a lava.
This video seems more like Thug Film Summary. All the quotes given are the main ones from the movie... no Tom Bombadil either. And anyone who's read the book knows the real hobbit hero is Sam.
Ahhh, good review!! This is one of my favorite books and I'm sad they left so much out of the movie. I mean, I had Jackson had to, but a lot of keypoints were just tossed aside. I love that Frodo doesn't start his adventure until he's about 50 years old.
+Solqueen86 Aye aye! Though if I remember correctly, coming of age for a hobbit is 33 (correct me if I'm wrong). So technically, he's still quite young for a hobbit.

Mt. Doom is the place where Sauron keeps his mixtape. The only thing hot enough to melt the ring.
I'm guessing the whole Sauron Records are over there lol.
Oooh... you revealing the secrets of Mt. Doom, Middle-Earth's real OG!
:)
Keoni Anderson A
must be some fire
Word, bruh
"Power corrupts even the realest homies."
Tru dat. Where's Part 2 and 3?
Shit. Seems like this shit is spent
Yeah, like Big Smoke, from GTA SA
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account??
I was stupid lost the account password. I love any help you can offer me!
@James Ryland instablaster =)
@Arthur Aydin I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now.

"It's a good thing that frodo packing watermelon nuts, cuz he gona' need them to resist the power of the ring"
*Subscribe'd*
+Generictwat1 Thumbs up as well.
remove the 'e' i.e. subscrib'd
Generictwat1 ggggk
You son of a hobbit, I'm in😂😂😂
"Gotta kick that habit, my hobbit"
Instant classic line!
I like that hobbits are getting the OG respect they deserve. If every hood had a merry and pippin, there would be so much more unity
Seriously the only recap of FOTR anyone's needs to see. Very well articulated , illustrated, entertaining and thorough. Dope!
I think that Sam is the real hero of the trilogy. Mainly because, if it wasn't for him, frodo would have ended up like isealdor (spelling?) and not destroying the ring at mt doom. Sam is the really OG
+Liam Worsley JRR Tolkein himself said that Sam was the real hero.
+Liam Worsley If it wans't for Gollum the ring never would have been destroyed. Gollum is the real OG
Andrew Muller Really? damn...
***** if it wasn't for sauron, the ring wouldn't exist :p
+Liam Worsley It's Isildur btw
I'm finding this in 2022. It's still a masterpiece. Thank you
What do y'all wanna see next?
+Wisecrack DO NAUSEA (Sartre)
+Wisecrack "Intimacy" by Hanif Kureishi
Something by Elmore Leonard!
@wisecrack Can you do Elmer Gantry?
+Wisecrack Virginia Woolf, please!
Tom Bombadil didn't even make it into the video. Poor guy :(
I too was hoping to see Tom.
+TYRONE THUG-NASTY BIGGUMS He also forgot Bilbo's bro Fatty. Dude started to go with them, but chickened out. Instead he rolled into Bag End to obfuscate the departure of Bilbo.
+TYRONE THUG-NASTY BIGGUMS Thank god for that
+TYRONE THUG-NASTY BIGGUMS Seriously tho Tom Bombadil was a waste of time. He has little impact on the story and never shows up again really.
+CCTV9 The part with the wights in the Barrows was pretty cool at least. But yeah, Tom Bombadil was just comic relief.
Sauron wasn't a regular dude before the ring. He was a Maiar, and not corrupted by the ring but corrupted by Morgoth.
+BuckyMadubado A common misconception. The truth is NO ONE GIVES A SHIT.
derlich09 You sound just like my mother.
+derlich09 you're in the comment section of a video that is talking about the book...
The fact a channel like this exists gave me such a mood boost this is great
"Little hairy homies called 'Hobbits'." Ah, that made my day.
You had me at little hairy homies😂😂
"You gotta kick the habit, my Hobbit! "
😄😄😊😁😅😆
LOLed so hard i hurt my lungs.
😂😂😂
This sounds like a good book. They should make a movie with it like The Hobbit or Hunger Games
+Jerome Lavoie they should make a whole trillogy too
You idiot this will never work as a movie
Surprised that some dipshit who doesn't get the joke didn't come and make a fuss.
+Jerome Lavoie Or make a book-following movie.
+Jerome Lavoie Nah, I'm sure they would rather do the Silmarillion instead
When you something horrible happen to you that is beyond your control, live by that second sentence from Gandalf. Deal with it the best way you can.
any chance you covering the Two Towers and Return of the King?
YES PLEASE
Right???? You absolutely need to do the rest!
YES! Somebody start a chant? (**lifts fist** Two Towers, Two Towers, Two Towers…)
Fun Fact: Before settling on Frodo, one of the names Tolkien considered was “Bingo” 😂
Bingo Baggins
Adorable
That was amazing. I'm so glad you made this!!! You rolled the entire book up better than anyone I have ever seen. Including me! Anyway thanks homie and see ya in da next episode.
Great series Wisecrack! So many classics are thrown out there as strictly entertainment. Your "In your face" analysis reveals the real quality of these stories. You are a great story teller!
"Real Gs roll four deep!" I did not know that.
Then you ain't a real G
C'mon man everybody knows that , lol
Two up front, two in the back.
If it's some real shit, gotta have a homie in the trunk with a machine gun too.
I absolutely love that quote by Gandalf of having to decide what to do with the time given to us. Helped me in some binds and rough times. Love the video and hope to see more of these in the future.
You guys should definitely do the rest of the trilogy! :D
Best show ever! :)
This is by far one of the greatest things ever. Of all time.
This is great but you gotta do the other two books. Pleeeeease
Some are born Great, some achieve Greatness, and some have Greatness thrust upon them.
"Real Gs roll Fo Deep."
Wiser words have never been spoken.
BLESS THIS CHANNEL HAHA! You've helped me so much thanks, and did NOT leave me hopelessly bored
"because real G's roll four deep"
you goddamn right.
This was one of the Best Thug Notes yet!! Geat job!! I hope you do the other 2 books too.
I've been waiting for this since forever thanks so much bby :*
The most clear and concise explanation I've ever heard. I'm not even playing.
Just like Saruman predicted.... We are living in a industrial society
Saruman:
Together, my lord Sauron, we shall rule this Middle-earth. The old world
will burn in the fires of industry. Forests will fall. A new order will
rise. We will drive the machine of war with the sword and the spear and
the iron fist of the orc.
J.R.R. Tolkien Thuglord
Watching this made me happy. Thank you very much for uploading it.
17 years?! In the movie they made it seem like not even one year went by. Wouldn't that make Frodo 50 years old or some shit!?
+Bounsingonbongos1 Yes, he indeed was. Read the books sometime.
+Bounsingonbongos1
Damn those Hobbits out last humans but still under the elves
+TheMontanaDave the problem I had with the books was it was always a little *too* detailed, ya know? Like, it would go so far into detail that instead of helping me picture the setting it took me out of the story.
+Bounsingonbongos1 Aragorn was around 80 yrs old during the story too.
+Bounsingonbongos1 hobbits dont age like men do.
This channel is the best thing I've ever seen.
Real G's roll four deep. So true.
While he kept loyal to the origins his accent made it so much fun! Thanks indeed for making me laugh so much with a content dark as mid night!
One of the best episodes yet. :)
Man Dr. Sweets, I really love your book...you did a great job! 😀
Please tell me you're going to make a sequel!!

Persuasion by Jane Austen. That's a good one for Dr Sweets to tackle!📕📚📖
Please PLEASE do the rest of the Lord of the Rings series, both The Two Towers, and The Return of the King! The series is my favorite, and you nailed this first book!

I'd love to see Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo please!

Please do The Two Towers and Return of the King, as well.
I came here for a book summary before I started the second book again, but discovering this channel was way better!
"More serious than going there and back again"? I see what you did thurr.

MORE LORD OF THE RINGS!
Oooh, you would do a kickass job doing a video on Gone Girl! Especially now that people have seen the movie and it has more attention now.
We did it. Check it out: m.ruclips.net/video/QzYx9bYHxKo/видео.html
+Wisecrack Great video too :)

+Virtue & Insight YES!
AYE, get the book!
I like your channel dude, your funny. I'll check out more videos in the future. Keep doing what you do.
I have never seen LoTR or read the books. Yet somehow, I know the whole story by internet references alone.
Oh yeah then who was Luthian and Beren and what did they do?
You will either ignore me or just look it up probably...
Saleh G Of course I don't know each individual character. I know the broad overarching story due to internet/comedy references.
I know there were many rings made by some guy, I know Frodo's uncle did something before related to it. I know a mixed group all went to destroy the ring on foot for some reason. +Jhon Shephard but what about the eagles???
rondre molo
I forgot to use them just like Gandalf did.
I should have known 'one does not simply ignore the eagles' when summarizing LOTR.
I LOVE THUG NOTES. Holy shit, bro. This is truly one of the best things on RUclips. Peace.
Do The Voynich Manuscript
I love how this is the first thing that comes up when you look for a summary of the book
The Martian cmon Sparky
+C Jones Respect for your profile pic
+C Jones That book aint nothing but a glorified math textbook fam
+Rolsification >Implying the book actually makes sense
I’d like to hear an audiobook read by Sparky, with his own edits of course
Man i was thinking same 😃 but i want just his voice tolkien is epic enough
Do "The Stars My Destination" by Alfred Bester
+Austin Dana Oh, hell yeah. One of the best SF books ever written.
I love this, please do the Two Towers and The return of the King. Thank you.
hitchhicker's guide to galaxy
Where has this been all my life!?!?!
how about A Midsummer Night's Dream? If it wasn't already covered...
+Taj Dudden We covered it. You can find the episode here: ruclips.net/video/CpLqTC2-HuA/видео.html
GOD DAMN! your style of reviews are just so educative and entertaining. Keep it up homie.
This actually kinda sorta made more sense to me than everyone else's explanation.
Wait so Frodo was 50 when he headed out to dump that ring off!?
Make that fifty.
Alia
My bad
+Alia Make it fiddy
+Solqueen86 Aye aye!
Though if I remember correctly, coming of age for a hobbit is 33 (correct me if I'm wrong). So technically, he's still quite young for a hobbit.
+Nerima G yeah, he's probably like 28 in hobbit years.
idk how usefull this is going to be to me for my book report but hey ITS ENTERTAINING
DUDE!!!
You should do Stephen King's It for halloween!! :D
6:34 I feel like that quote was from Tolkein himself to the reader after his experiences in WW1.
"packing watermelon nuts" XD
"Sometimes fate rolls up and just takes a big ol sh** right in your lap and you just gotta deal with it." In 2021 this lands.
You're talking about the movie, right?
+danielwuso lol hell no.
This is thug notes, they only talk about books on this
+Vrotdogi Pronin's Home of Suicide and Depression It sounds a lot like the movie, though
+Vrotdogi Pronin's Home of Suicide and Depression If you're talking about the book you can't go skipping my man Tom Bombadil
draconitious Well because the movie was based off the book -_-. Plus the movie increased the pace majorly.
You guys rock. I challenge you to do a Thug Notes of Cloud Atlas.
tess of the d'urbervilles
The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Juno Diaz! Love this Show!
why can't my english teacher show me thug notes 😢
This is precious!
Why didn't you base it off of the book version...
RsAz123 It is... Since if it was of the movies he would not mention the 17 year old time difrence, and that quote that Frodo made was not in the movies, and he would neither mention that the fellowship rested for some months if it was about the movies
Johan Aanvik Woah, it's been a long time didn't expect a reply. My comment meant that they did not cover many plot points that occurred in the book instead they focused on covering plot points that were shown in the movie. Some plot points include Tom Bombadil, The Barrow-Wights and Old man Willow that tries to consume the hobbits. Yes they used book quotes but they followed the movies narrative.
RsAz123 Well it also was meant as an quick summary about lotr but yes it would be good if they used more of the plot lines, however i think they still did a good job
Johan Aanvik For sure they did do a good job, I had just hoped to see it include more was all :)
I just found this and this is the best review I've even seen 👌😂
this was more like a summary of the movie tbh fam
What I really wish now is that Wisecrack would make an episode and simple analyses on the more important parts of the story that happen in the original book, but not in the movie.
Like their encounter with Farmer Maggot, so we can admire how super chill that dude is. Them meeting Tom Bombadil, so we can ponder exactly who or what this guy is. Their misadventure into the Barrow-downs and encounter with the barrow-wights, where they find their Dunedain knives, which they ironically use against the ring-wraths in the third book and movie.
Would be one long Thug Notes episode though...
How hard it is to be Frodo?
No! How hard it is to be Samwise! All Frodo does was whine, Sam had to carry Frodo and save him so many times.
Frodo had the toughest job psychologically by having to constantly combat the ring's corruption. Sam had the toughest job of having to be Frodo's designated driver and save his ass while Frodo's mentally incapacitated. Samwise is basically the ringbearer-bearer, and is in my opinion the real hero of LOTR
But he is not, there is not one true hero,
without Frodo Sam would have to have carried it the whole time which means he would be in the same state,
and do not forget about Gollum without him the ring would have never been fthrown away
so Sam, Frodo, and Gollum are the true heroes...
this deserve a million
Love this! Are you going to do parts 2 and 3? When you talk about how Frodo is trying to protect the Shire, I think Tolkien did a really good job in the end of part 3, when they come back and see that they couldn't protect it anyway, and war reached it to some extent.
That was awesome. Great vid. Keep it up!
Man i love this series soooo much!
Lol. I would drink a beer with you any time.
Outstanding, all the best to you , man
!
I’m so excited Greg isn’t just “The Thug Notes Guy” now, but maaaaan these will always be iconic
Love me some thug notes! Turned my sis onto 'em too. Keep them coming!
This is great! Are you gonna do part 2 and 3 of the lord of the rings books? That would be epic!
you deserve way more views
i love everything about this video
Thank you so much this has helped me so much on my essay
